Get the Staff Involved

In any small business, getting your own employees involved with promotions is an asset.  With the restaurant business, it is no different.  Ask your staff to be spokespeople for your establishment.  For whom better to represent the food and service you provide then your own staff.  It is one way to spread the word about what the restaurant serves and offers in the community that is different from the rest of the competition.

Recruit Third Party to Evaluate

You need an honest assessment of what is occurring in your business.  You need someone to present how your business stacks up from the others in the area.  Is your staff on-point with guests?  How does the food taste?  Is there a unique niche the restaurant should target?  To find out truthful, honest answers to these questions, hire a third party.  You are only able to see objectively so much.  A third party will be able to tell you where the shortcomings are, if the décor works for the price of the food, etc…

Another thing you should seriously consider during a financial drought is further financing.  You need to look into alternative means on how to finance operating costs when the money is falling short.  An unsecured business loan or a business cash advance will keep your business afloat until you are over the dip in sales and back on the rise in profits, again.
